When did you first start CrossFit? 2012
Tell us about your sports & fitness background: High school athlete: Football, basketball, baseball, track.
I played Collegiate football and baseball for Concordia University. I have always loved to compete. When my my college career was over I have always searched for a new place to compete. CrossFit has been the best fit since I stopped playing football.
How did you first get exposed to CrossFit? I watched my wife fall in love with CrossFit and transform her fitness.
Favorite Workout/Least Favorite Workout: Favorite Work-out: Snatches are my favorite lifting move and I also love long chippers.
Least Favorite work-outs: Thrusters and bar facing burpees.
What sort of changes have you seen in your body, health and fitness since starting CF (before/after)? I have more stamina, endurance, confidence, awareness and overall fitness since starting CrossFit.
What sort of unexpected changes in your life have you experienced out of taking on something like CrossFit? We never dreamt this would become so much apart of our life.
Please share with us any favorite CrossFit moments: Watching my wife participate in the Granite Games. I knew how hard she worked and how much it stretched her! I love that I can go any where in the country and connect with people like me!
Any advice for people just getting started or new to CrossFit? Stay positive and don’t be to hard on yourself. Keep at it!
